Headlight, Camera Mount and Lens for Your Riding Helmet
Need a headlight for dark stable mornings, a GoPro mount to film your lessons or a lens against low sun? All three attach directly to the YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0 with the Click & Go system and come off again in seconds. No elastic bands, no tape, nothing squeezed under the harness.
Most riders own one helmet. Yet a single week can include a dark morning in the stable before work, low autumn sun on the forest track and a lesson you want to film and watch afterwards. Click & Go is how the YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0 adapts to all of it, without you having to improvise.
What is Click & Go?
Click & Go is the accessory system built into the Hybrid Helmet 2.0. Each accessory has its own defined place on the helmet and attaches or comes off in seconds. You choose what you need for today's ride and leave the rest at home.
The system currently includes three accessories:
- +Lens Magnetic, a magnetic lens in two tints
- +Headlight, a rechargeable 700 lumen headlight
- +Cam Adapter, a mount for GoPro cameras
The helmet also has a replaceable Coolmax inner liner, so a spare liner or a junior liner can be fitted when you need it.
Why we make accessories at all
We start from a simple idea: the helmet that protects you is the one you actually wear. When a helmet does not suit the ride, riders start improvising. Sunglasses squeezed in under the harness. A head torch strapped around the shell with an elastic band. A camera taped to the top. None of these solutions were designed for the helmet they sit on.
Click & Go gives each of those needs a solution designed together with the helmet. You get the function you are after, and the helmet stays the way it was made to be worn.
It is also about getting more out of one product. Instead of separate gear for winter, summer and training, one helmet covers more of your riding year.
+Lens Magnetic: clearer vision in changing light
Low sun, flat grey light and bad weather can all make it harder to read the ground ahead. +Lens Magnetic attaches to the front of the helmet with magnets and comes off just as quickly when you no longer need it.
- Grey: VLT 37%, Category 2. Best suited for sunny conditions.
- Amber: VLT 58%, Category 1. Enhances contrast in cloudy or variable light.
The magnetic attachment is also a safety detail. The lens is designed to release automatically in the event of an accident, instead of staying rigidly fixed in front of your face.
Which tint should you choose? If you mostly ride in bright conditions, choose Grey. If you ride a lot in autumn, winter or forest light, Amber is usually the better match.
+Headlight: light for the dark half of the year
In the Nordic winter, many rides and almost all stable work happen in the dark. +Headlight is a rechargeable headlight that mounts on the helmet, so your hands stay free for the reins, the lead rope or the hay net.
- 700 lumen, combining a long-reach spotlight with a close flood light
- Red light mode that preserves your night vision
- Orange light mode
- Super-low mode (15 lumen) that saves battery
- Integrated USB rechargeable battery (LiPo 700 mAh) with battery level indicator
- Fully waterproof to IP68
- SOS blink mode
Good to know: a headlight helps you see. To be seen by traffic, combine it with reflective gear on both you and your horse.
+Cam Adapter: your ride from your own perspective
Filming from the saddle is one of the most useful training tools there is. You see your lines, your timing and how your horse responds, exactly as you experienced it. +Cam Adapter lets you mount a GoPro directly on the Hybrid Helmet 2.0 and remove it again when the session is over.
Use it to review a lesson with your trainer, follow your progress over a season or keep a ride you want to remember.
One helmet, built to adapt
Click & Go is part of a broader idea behind the Hybrid Helmet 2.0. Protection comes first: Mips technology designed to help protect against rotational forces in angled impacts, and certification to EN 1384:2023 and ASTM F1163-23. Around that, every detail is there to make the helmet easy to live with: a magnetic buckle you can close with one hand, adjustable top ventilation, a replaceable Coolmax liner and accessories that follow the seasons.
