Is YELM a Swedish brand?
Yes. YELM is a Swedish riding protection brand, founded in Stockholm in 2021. Hybrid Helmet 2.0 and Helium Vest 2.0 are designed and developed in Sweden. You can try them on in the Stockholm showroom by booking a visit.
What are the helmet and vest certified to?
Hybrid Helmet 2.0 is certified to EN 1384:2023 and ASTM F1163-23 and has Mips® in every size. Helium Vest 2.0 is a riding vest with a back protector certified to EN 1621-2 Level 2.
How did the helmet do in Folksam's 2026 test?
Folksam, an independent Swedish insurer, tested fifteen riding helmets in 2026. Hybrid Helmet 2.0 was rated “Bra val” (Good choice), one of four out of fifteen.
