Y/ELM+ Protection proudly presents core ambassador:Ebba Danielsson

  • Core Ambassador & Pathfinder Ebba Danielsson is a name we won't forget anytime soon.

Quite the opposite actually. The emerging star is making a name for herself right now and In this instant, she is on her way to leave a great mark in the world of equestrian sports.

From a victory at the Grand Prix in Haagen, Germany, to top placements on various competitions and just recently winning a class at Falsterbo Horse show (where she beat some of Swedens leading professionals, at the young age of 16), she has a lot to be proud of.

Her young age, combined with an extraordinary amount of grit and eagerness to do more and be better than anyone before her caught the eye of the Y/ELM+ team early on.

With characteristics like that, she has already brought inspiration not only to us, but to riders all over the world. Regardless of age or orientation.

  • Y/ELM+ founder Alexandra Berhe agrees that with someone like Ebba on the team, Y/ELM+ are growing the capacity to inspire and support riders on a whole new level. An aspiration that has been in Y/ELM+s DNA from the beginning.

Ebba will join Team Y/ELM+ as a Pathfinder and Core Ambassador. A role we think fits her perfectly. Simultaneously with this, Ebba will do her internship at the Y/ELM+ headquarters in central Stockholm.

We are so grateful to be able to provide a place for Ebba to deepen her skills and learnings while studying for her exams.

Ebba is a true game-changer and we are all about that energy.

The stable

Q ( 01 ) Hi Ebba, what have you done today?
E: Today I’ve been shooting for Y/ELM+ Protection System.

Q ( 02) Are there any do’s and don’ts in the stable?
E: Don’t ride without a helmet. Thats the most important thing.

Q ( 03 ) What does a normal day in the stable look like to you?
E: I wake up and then I go to the stables, I do my everyday chores and after that I ride my horses. It is pretty much the same schedule every day.

Q ( 04 ) What is good horsemanship to you?

E: I like to learn from my horses. When working with them so much as I do every day we get very close to each other.

Riding

Q ( 05 ) What is your best ride ever and why?
E: Probably when I won the Grand Prix, in Haagen in Germany. It was such a cool ride.

Q ( 06 ) Why was it so cool?
E: My horse performed well, it was a lovely course to ride and everything else was perfect. I were so happy!

Q ( 07 ) When did you start riding?

E: I’ve been riding for my whole life, so I can not even remember when. It is my passion.

Q ( 08 ) How did you discover riding and what made you want to do more of it?

E: My mom has always been riding, so when I was little I followed her to the stables, I started going to riding school and I thought it was super fun, and after that I just kept on going.

Q ( 09 ) What was so fun about it?E: The horses. There is something special about horses that I just love.

Q ( 10 ) What would you say to young people curious about riding?
E: I would say to ask for help from people that already ride or are connected to a stable, and then just do it [ride] everyday. Don’t be afraid of asking questions.

Q ( 11 ) What do you bring with you on a ride outdoors?
E: I always

Personal

Q ( 12 ) What does riding mean to you personally?
E: It means everything to me, I’ve been riding my whole life so yeah, it just means a lot. I could not live without horses.

Q ( 13 ) What's the best thing that has happened to you this year? In your riding career?
E: That was without a doubt when I won my first 150 Grand Prix.

Q ( 14 ) What about your temper when you loose?
E: I get a little bit disappointed at first, then I just go home and practise on the things I can do better until next time. And then I come back strong!

Q ( 15 ) Your mom said you can boil and egg on the top of your head when you loose.?
E:Sometimes when I think too much about the loss… I get very disappointed in myself. Perhaps I get a "little" bit mad...

Q ( 16 ) What do you do to recover from a loss?
E: I record and look at my rides a lot. I try to see what I did wrong. And then I just practice that thing/things and try to do it right the next time.
