IMPORTANT ABOUT COMPETITION
Certification & competition
Helium Vest 2.0 is certified to EN 1621-2 Level 2 as a back protector. It is designed specifically for back protection and is not classified as a BETA 3 body protector.
Competition requirements vary by discipline, age and event. In Sweden, certain competitions and riders under 18 may require a body protector that meets additional requirements. Always check the current rules applicable to your competition before use.

HOW SHOULD I THINK ABOUT SIZE AND THE LENGTH OF THE BACK PROTECTOR?
Finding the right size
Sizes are based on body height in 10 cm intervals, and each size provides sufficient back protection length to meet the requirements of EN 1621-2.
Length is the key measurement. The highly flexible mesh construction adapts comfortably to different body shapes, making the fit forgiving across a wide range of riders.
Some riders prefer a slightly shorter back protector for maximum freedom of movement around the lower back, while others prefer a longer fit for greater coverage.

CAN I EXCHANGE THE VEST IF IT DOES NOT FIT?

WHICH TYPE OF PROTECTION DO YOU NEED?

Helium Vest 2.0 is designed specifically to provide certified impact protection for the back, while remaining lightweight, flexible and comfortable enough for everyday riding.
A BETA 3 body protector provides a different type of protection, with coverage extending across the chest and torso. This makes it suitable for riders who require a body protector for specific disciplines or competition requirements.
Helium Vest 2.0 is made for riders who prioritise back protection, freedom of movement and a low-profile fit – without the bulk of a traditional body protector.
HOW DO I CLEAN AND CARE FOR THE VEST?
Care Guide
To keep your vest fresh and in the best condition, we recommend airing it out and wiping it clean after use rather than machine washing it frequently. Machine washing is possible when a deeper clean is needed.
- Machine wash on a gentle cycle at max. 30°C.
- Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Air dry only. Do not tumble dry.
- Store the vest in a dry place, away from prolonged exposure to high heat or direct sunlight.
WEAR IT. FORGET IT.
Protection only works if you actually put it on. Helium is built to sit close, breathe and follow your movement.
