The Junior Liner creates a snugger fit inside the S/M helmet, bringing the fit down to approximately 52–53 cm. As your child grows, simply switch back to the standard liner – the same helmet grows with them.
The Junior liner features:

WHAT SAFETY STANDARS DOES THE HELMET MEET?
Safety is at the heart of everything we develop.
The YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0 is designed to help manage both angled impacts and rotational forces — forces that can occur in a fall and may contribute to concussion.This is also supported by Folksam’s 2026 equestrian helmet test, where the YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0 was one of only four helmets out of 15 tested to receive the “Good Choice” rating.The test showed, among other things, that:
- Helmets with rotational protection performed better than helmets without rotational protection.
- The difference in protection between helmets was significant — according to Folksam, the risk of concussion was three to eight times higher with the lowest-performing helmets.
- A higher price does not guarantee better protection. Several more expensive helmets performed worse than less expensive models.
- The four helmets awarded “Good Choice” performed more than 10% better than the average helmet.
The YELM Hybrid Helmet 2.0 was one of these four.For us, this is an important confirmation that our focus on advanced protection and rotational protection can make a difference — when it matters most.

HOW SHOULD THE HELMET FIT?
The helmet should sit firmly and comfortably around the head without causing pressure. It should not be able to move forwards, backwards, or sideways when you move your head.
